Performance in motion Schools bring dance, music and drama to the festival stage, celebrating Unity in Diversity in costume, rhythm and choreography.
Brushes down, worlds up Young artists put brush to paper around the theme Seeds of Peace, One World Many Colours, and the finished works go on show at the festival. This is the one competition open to individual entrants who book a workshop seat.
Show Your SWAG Show Your SWAG: traditional fabric, bead and colour walk the runway as children model the cultures they come from.
Words carried home Children speak, recite and perform in their mother tongues. Know Your Language is an invitation to carry heritage out loud.
Letter by letter Letter by letter on the competition floor, children spell their way across the country's landmarks. Know Your National Landmarks crowns the festival's sharpest young spellers.

Make it with your own hands
Guided workshops in Gypsum Eco Craft and Adire making run through the festival alongside storytelling, music and folktales. A seat is booked per student and covers every workshop, whether your child comes with a school or registers on their own.

Adaeze Onwubiko
Adaeze Onwubiko won the 2024 Art Olympiad, and now she carries Nigeria forward. She joins the Nigerian troupe travelling to the World Children’s Festival in Washington DC, where the country’s young artists take their place on the world stage.
